Some of the buildings which will surely be emblematic in the future, will become a reality in this newly released 2022. In our incessant search to keep our clients and friends informed, in De Salas We wanted to know the most important ones that help us understand contemporary architecture.
La Warisan MerdekaTower, in Kuala Lumpur, is the first of these buildings which is also on everyone's lips. With its 679 meters high, which makes it the second tallest building in the world behind the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Merdeka 118, which is how the skyscraper is known, is the work of the studio of architecture Australian Fender Katsalidis. Its 350 thousand square meters will house offices, a shopping center, a mosque, a restaurant, a hotel and the highest two-level observation platform in all of Southeast Asia.
Another city that will see its skyline altered because of one of these buildings It's San Francisco. One Steuart Lane It will be a luxurious residential tower, with a design that makes the most of the incomparable views of the bay. The project focuses on creating a perfect connection between the interior and exterior, taking a classic concept of California living and applying it to the scale of a skyscraper. Expansive outdoor terraces wrap around the building, dividing its vertical elevation into horizontally proportioned volumes that relate to the panoramic oceanfront landscape.
Of course the football stadiums could not be missing, if we take into account that this year is the World Cup in Qatar. And even less so if the main one has been designed by the Foster + Partners studio. It is the case of Lusail Stadium, the jewel in the Qatari crown when it comes to football. Its design includes an open-air field that can be cooled up to 26°C using the most advanced refrigeration technologies. Its exterior will be a bright gold and a roof designed to provide a balance between shade for spectators and sunlight for the court surface.
Berlin has been one of the cities chosen by fotografiska, the Swedish photography museum that is in a phase of global expansion, with three new branches that will make it the museum of largest private company in the world and whose first of these next buildings It is a repurposed venue in this German city. Housed in a former Jewish Quarter shop in a landmark building known as Kunsthaus Tacheles, the six-story, 5.400-square-meter space will receive a pyramidal roof extension, three floors of exhibition space, an event hall, a restaurant, a cafe, bakery, lounge, gift shop and rooftop bar.
And last, but not the least important of the buildings that will not leave anyone indifferent, we have, in the Tetuán neighborhood in Madrid, a new construction development that is currently under construction and whose completion is scheduled for mid-2022. It is skyline: two 100 meter high towers that rise imposingly over the capital, with 25 floors and countless qualities and amenities. Both towers have been designed by Touza Architects, and will have an area of 26.390 square meters, with two pools, one of them on the roof, gym, sauna, coworking space and many other elements that will place them as a reference in the northern area of Madrid.

A dynamic that we are going to maintain in this newly released 2022, which we hope will be exceptional for everyone.
