Many ferias de y design that it seems that, finally, we will be able to visit in person in 2021. And although the year has started with events that some could call apocalyptic, in De Salas We are optimistic and believe that the changes are for the better, even if it is difficult to see them at first. Therefore, we think it is worth scheduling some of the events cultural most important that we hope will interest our clients and friends.

The first in proximity, spatial and temporal, is the Madrid Design Festival, which for the fourth year will take over the capital throughout the month of February and which involves essential appointments at the design level. This year the fair will have a guest city that could not be other than Valencia, designated World Design Capital 2022.
We take a small leap, also in space and time, and we go to March 26 and Paris, where Maison & Objet will reopen its doors after the pandemic forced it to be canceled. And although it was adapted and offered a masterful digital exhibition, it seems that in 2021 we will have this wonderful excuse in the form of fair to visit the capital French.
Frankfurt atmosphere is that fair of decoration in which one is willing to get lost and worst of all, without wanting to find oneself but wanting to take everything with you. Because it brings together 4.500 exhibitors from all over the world who present their latest designs in home decoration, furniture and accessories. A delight worth visiting, from April 17 to 20.
Also in Frankfurt but in the form of textiles we will find Heimtextil Frankfurt, the biggest fair that exists around this sector and that is an unavoidable event for experts. This year it will take place from May 4 to 7. And in that same month of May, we will return to Madrid to visit Home Decor, the most important event in the country and which from May 13 to June 27 will take over the exuberant Casa de Tomás Allende building, in the Plaza de Canalejas and with its unique architecture, to host this edition of the fair of interior design that will bet on artisanal products and traditional crafts on this occasion.
From April 28 to May 2 it will be held Maco Zone, fair of contemporary art DF, which normally takes place in February but they hope that the health situation will be more controlled worldwide at the end of April. And in June we will have Art Basel, fair most important for the international art market, with 300 selected galleries from all over the world exhibiting here in Switzerland. And we would have to jump to September for the very famous Furniture expo in Milan, but we will tell about that later.
As we said a few weeks ago, in De Salas We are glad that the world is moving forward, adapting to the needs of this new normal. And that the ferias of art and design also do so, we are especially happy, because we know that they are two of the concerns that most interest our clients and friends. Ready to enjoy them?
