1.-The origins: Our father
Our father, Fernando De Salas, He was the one who initiated the mediation activity in real estate transactions, in a very different context than today, in which APIs operated as liberal professionals, both on rural and urban land, with a small team of assistants, but without a business structure.
He had a solid background as a Lawyer and Doctor in Information Sciences and became Real Estate Agent with Collegiate number 80, el March 1, 1960, It's been 63 years since this. 2.-The second generation: Fernando and Dominique
His older son, Fernando and his wife Dominique They turned that individual activity of their father into a business structure, founding the company OF ROOMS Real Estate Consultants, en 1988. They began to operate in La Moraleja, providing transparency and information on the characteristics and prices of the properties, in a context of absolute opacity, achieving strong expansion and generating great credibility and trust. Both are trained people with extensive business experience: Fernando de Salas (son) had completed ICADE E-3 (Lic. in Law and Business) and worked as a manager in important multinationals and his wife Dominique Duchesne had graduated in Interior Architecture by IADE. Before starting the business activity, Dominique had already worked on important civil construction projects on the peninsula and in the Canary Islands, with well-known Architecture Firms.
Before residing in the area, Dominique and Fernando already knew La Moraleja and its surroundings since the 70s, because they had family and friends who lived there. In 1980 they moved to live in an apartment in El Soto de La Moraleja and in 1983 they bought a 2.600 m2 plot in the southern area of La Moraleja, where, in 1985, they built their house, where they currently reside. After the first office in La Moraleja, they opened three more offices, in Mirasierra, in the Conde de Orgaz area and in Madrid, first in Almagro 34 and currently in Serrano 45, now having four teams totaling 28 people. Since its founding, the company has never distributed profits, which have always been destined for growth and investment in resources. The remuneration policy for employees is made up of a fixed salary (with employment contract and Social Security) in addition to an important variable retribution, based on results.
3.-The third generation: Ramón and Lucía
To give continuity to the company, face new times and successfully carry out the generational change, since January 2023, his nephew took charge of the company as General Director. Ramon de Salas, who provides solid training as an Economist by the Autonomous University and Master in Finance from ICADE. Ramón has had a relevant experience of 8 years, carrying out important M&A operations, valuations, financial analysis and business management and now, in his own family business he focuses on expansion and technological innovation.
To do this, count on the know-how and his sister's experience Lucia de Salas, who is an Industrial Engineer from ICAI and Expert in Information Technologies in innovative projects. Lucía has contributed new web developments, CRM and AI.
